New Star Wars Black Series figures announced, includes The Mandalorian

A new line of over 10 Star Wars figures

What’s your favorite Star Wars story? Odds are, there’s a figure for that. Later this year, Hasbro’s The Black Series is making those odds even better when more than 10 new Star Wars pieces debut.

The Black Series is an ongoing line of highly detailed Star Wars action figures. The newest additions to the line were just announced––and they include some fan favorite characters from around the Star Wars universe.

Pre-order: Star Wars The Black Series figures

Figures are color-coded to their franchise origins: The Mandalorian and an Imperial Stormtrooper represent Disney+ show The Mandalorian, Admiral Ackbar and an Ewok named Teebo are pulled from Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker in his Hoth snowspeeder gear is joined by Darth Vader to pay homage to The Empire Strikes Back, and a Clone Trooper figure is adorned in the gear worn on Kamino in The Clone Wars.

The last color, purple, represents the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Figures include the droid Chopper, Order 66 survivor Kanan Jarrus, the Twi’lek Hera Syndulla, mission and information source Ahsoka Tano, Kanan’s apprentice Ezra Bridger, Mandalorian Sabine Wren and Lasat bruiser Zeb Orrelios. These characters make up the crew of the rebel ship Ghost.

Star Wars Rebels debuted in 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite Star Wars story.

Figures include accessories and are $20.99––except Zeb, whose figure is $29.99. The new Black Series figures have a projected release date of October 2020.
