Artists become pop culture art as Funko Pop! Vinyl

Funko has used its vinyl palette to produce another pair of Pop! Vinyl, this time pulling from art history.

Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh Pop! Vinyl are available at Entertainment Earth via the links above for $10.99. Each artist will ship early next year.

Born in 1452, Italian artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci is responsible for famous works like Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. His many draft journals included diagrams for flying machines, information on anatomy and an iconic piece known as The Vitruvan Man. Da Vinci passed away in 1519.

In 1890, Vincent van Gogh died. However, his work lives on in a western society that holds his post-impressionist style up as a standard-bearer for artistic quality. Van Gogh created over 2,000 pieces of art during his 37 years, with pieces like Starry Night remaining mainstays in pop culture’s collective consciousness.
