It’s been 25 years since the release of influential PC title System Shock, and nowadays, anniversary is slang for “fancy re-release.” On Tuesday, Oct. 1, Limited Run will provide games with exactly that when their PC big box collector’s edition of System Shock hits the retailer’s online storefront.

If history is any indication, Limited Run will announce special contents for the collector’s edition closer to the pre-order date. For now, fans can also plan to purchase the game’s soundtrack on 2-LP neon green gatefold vinyl.

System Shock is a first-person shooter with heavy exploration and puzzle elements. Players embody a hacker trapped aboard a space station that’s been commandeered by a rouge artificial intelligence program. The game spawned a sequel, aptly titled System Shock 2, as well as spiritual successors Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite.

A remake of System Shock is scheduled for release in 2020.
