The latter half of 2019 is full of big moves from mega multimedia franchise Pokemon.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are coming in November, a hard-to-find Pokemon-themed version of Nintendo’s new Switch Lite is on the horizon, new Pokemon from the DS Pokemon games, Black and White, just hit Pokemon GO, and Funko is adding another Pop! Vinyl to its Pokemon series with a new Pikachu figure.

The waving Pikachu Funko Pop! is currently available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth.

The figure is scheduled to ship this December.

Our Take

I’m surprised a third Pikachu figure is Funko’s next Pokemon product. So far, Funko has produced a Pop! Vinyl Pikachu and jumbo Pop! Vinyl Pikachu, along with a series of seasonal A Day With Pikachu figures available through Pokemon Center and GameStop. The Pokemon universe is full of characters and creatures who deserve spots on collector’s shelves. Hopefully, more will get their time in the spotlight.
