Funko’s collection of Pop! Vinyl figures inspired by early rapper The Notorious B.I.G. is growing by two pieces, one hitting retail as an exclusive with Hot Topic.

The Hot Topic exclusive (left) depicts Biggie in formal attire, while the figure at right will be available at most stores that sell Pop! Vinyl. The latter Notorious B.I.G. Pop! Vinyl figure is available to pre-order at Entertainment Earth, along with two previously released Biggie figures.

The Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, was an artist whose star grew with the mainstream emergence of rap—and whose semi-autobiographical lyrics and songwriting sensibilities contributed to the genre’s mainstream success. In 1997, Biggie, then 24, was murdered during a drive-by shooting. He’s survived by a catalog of work that’s equal parts cultural period piece and genre masterclass. The biopic Notorious was released in 2009.
