Premium sock brand Stance has turned its attention to film for its latest offerings, with 1994 Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction and 2008 Will Farrell/John C. Reilly vehicle Step Brothers.
Four styles of sock make up Stance’s Pulp Fiction collection, with three offerings in men’s sizes and one in women’s. Men’s styles feature Mia and Vincent dancing, Jules and Vincent (middle photo) and the shot of Mia with the film’s title above her in bright yellow font that was so prevalent in the film’s marketing. The women’s style (left) finds Mia at a booth in Jack Rabbit Slim’s diner.
Pulp Fiction is an Academy Award winning film anchored by the performances of its leads, aspiring actress Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman), who stars alongside hitmen Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta). In 2013, the film was added to Library of Congress’ National Film Registry. Pulp Fiction is available in a range of formats through Amazon, and Entertainment Earth carries a range of collectibles based on the film.
Stance’s lone style based on Step Brothers (right) is a men’s sock sporting the logo of Prestige Worldwide, the entertainment company started by new brothers/best friends Brennan and Dale.
Step Brothers is one in a series of films released in the late 2000s starring the duo of Farrell and Reilly. The comedians play two middle-aged men with arrested development whose parents marry, forcing their live-at-home adult sons to become cohabitants. The film is currently available at Amazon.
