Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening special edition, Amiibo announced at E3

The European special edition also includes a GameBoy SteelBook adorned with the original game’s title screen. This special edition is fine too, I guess.

The Link’s Awakening remake announced this February is receiving a special edition, the Dreamer Edition, that includes an art book. The game is available for pre-order now in standard, digital and Dreamer editions through Amazon.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was released for GameBoy in 1993. After crashing his boat into a foreign island, Link sets off to find his way home. Along the way, he traverses dungeons and battles monsters within the confines of classic Zelda gameplay. This remake enhances the original’s visuals and adds a new create-a-dungeon mode.

Speaking of Link’s throwback adventure, a new Link Amiibo based on the character’s portrayal in September’s The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was also announced. The Amiibo will retail for $15.99 and is available for pre-order through Amazon.

This boy is ready to protect or attack or give cuccos a whack.
