Data Discs announces plans to press Radiant Silvergun Soundtrack

Radiant Silvergun director Hiroshi Iuchi also worked on modern shooters Ikaruga and Gradius V.

Today, London, England-based video game music label Data Discs announced plans to press the soundtrack to 1998 shoot ’em up Radiant Silvergun.

No timetable is set for the release, but Data Discs is known for limited colorways, exceptional packaging and authentic sound transfers. We’ll update this story with any new information.

Radiant Silvergun was finally released in western marks via Xbox Live in 2011. It was previously available in Japanese arcades and on Japanese Sega Saturn systems. The game received critical acclaim and is considered a high watermark for its genre.

Current Sega soundtracks on Data Discs include Space Harrier, After Burner II, Sonic Mania and Altered Beast.
